Need completed MV-44 license form

To register a vehicle in NYS that was registered in another state:
Complete MV-82 (dmv.ny.gov/forms/mv82.pdf) &
DTF-803 or 802 (tax.ny.gov/pdf/current_forms/st/dtf803.pdf) registration and tax forms.
Need title and NYS bar coded Insurance Card (Ins. Effective Date cannot be more than 180 days from the date of NY registration)
•If vehicle is financed, need certified copy of title and a letter of permission from lender to register vehicle in NYS.
•Leased vehicles will require limited power of attorney, lease agreement, certified copy of title and letter of permission to register vehicle in NY from leasing company.
